March 2014 Wrap Up

Another month has gone by and I have no idea how it has whipped passed me so fast. This month has been crazy busy with a new part time gig and trying to work two jobs is not easy.  I am not the spring chick I was back in the day.  I have been trying to find time to read but I am not managing it at the moment. Thank God for audiobooks because they are a book blog saver.  I am happy just to have time to post anything at all on my blog.

This month's wrap up will be kinda long so bare with me.

Now on to my March wrap up...
March Blog Stats: I posted 39 blog post
Books bought so far this year: 2 books
Reading Challenges Complete: 2

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga Reviews where we all can link up our post about the new and shiny books in our lives. I also add my new pocketbooks too!

~Bought from Mysterious Galaxy Bookstore~

This is Mocha Girls Read book of the month for March. It is taking me forever to read this book.  I have had it for a month and I am not close to halfway yet.  Dang chunkster! (and poor time management)

~ Bought From Audible~

Audible had a BOGO for one credit sale and these are the two audiobooks I selected from the list.

~ From the E-Library~

Once I joined the Sequel Spring Challenge I went to the e-library and put all the books I need to read for the challenge on hold.  I was shocked I got them as quick as I did.

~ Free from Govinda's International Imports~

I did a bit of shopping at the Culver City Hare Krishna Cultural Center. I love that place! And they gave me this book for free. They give free books to everyone on various Hare Krishna beliefs.

~ Free from Audible~

I downloaded a expert of this book and the author interview.  I guess Audible is calling it "Beyond the Book".  The expert was interesting and I might get the full version.

~ New Pocketbooks ~

This is a gift from my godmother.  I love "Just Because" gifts.  They are the best.

It looks so much better in person that this picture.  I had only a few minutes to get this post together and take the photo.  Here is a link to a better photo and price. (Shop here)

I did really well and impressed myself with completing so many things on my Bloggiesta to do list. I have to say the one thing that I really wanted to do was finish this post. I am currently writing it on Tuesday at work before it goes up on Wednesday morning.

New Reading Challenge: Sequel Spring
So far, I have finished one series and one book in another series.  Currently reading the third book in the same series.  Thank God most of these book are available on the library's Overdrive app.  This would be an expensive and difficult challenge with my personal book buying ban going on this year.

So how did you do for the month of March?  How are your reading challenges going?
